I like this very indie rock/electropop song quite a bit. It’s a cool mix, with petticoat-layered production values approaching the wizardry of indi-rock electronic greats like Mark Foster of Foster the People, Passion Pitt’s Michael Angelakos and the collective cacophony–albeit a lovey one–of Bombay Bicycle Club.
I know. I’m just name-dropping here, and most comparisons are shit, just used to fluff up anemic music writing. But whatever. Sometimes I’ve got to throw a shout out to some of my favorite bands, because I’m a music evangelist. Or fangirl. Whatever phrase you prefer.
My song of the day is “Did I Make You Up” by half-alive.
