My dad once told me about encountering a particularly sardonic waitress at a diner.
She was wearing two pins on her uniform. One bore the words whiners, only it was crossed out, Ghostbusters-logo style, to read “No whiners.” The other pin said, “Eat and leave.”
I think about that story a lot. It’s so funny to me.
