Song of the Day: ‘Going Down’ by the Stone Roses

My song of the day is “Going Down” by legendary Mersey-beat band The Stone Roses, A B-side masterpiece off their 1990 single Made of Stone.

This is a really lovely and romantic song: “All thoughts of sleep desert me. There is no time. Thirty minutes brings me round to her Number 9.” (I don’t know exactly what it means to be brought round to Number 9, but it sounds fun).
