Don’t worry about it. It’s a Gen X question, lol. The show ran from 1976 to 1983 and then lived on in reruns. The girls moved into their own place in Milwaukee and got a job at a brewery. Laverne was eccentric and plain spoken. Shirley was meeker and more naive, still clinking to her favorite stuffed animal “Boo Boo Kitty” and enjoying her favorite drink, milk and Pepsi. The fact that I know all this and more is proof I was raised by television!

Thanks this is extremely helpful. I was a super young kid around this time (I was born in the late 1980s 😂) . Back then at my place “renting” VHS tapes was the only option 🤣🤣, we didn’t have any cable or satellite T.V at all (or even internet), so I was unaware of the wider dimension of sitcom classics like this one specifically, and a ton of others, and that’s why I appreciate your insight 😄👍
