A lovely thrift store find. I love creating Christmas decorations out of non-Christmas things and dispelling the egregious myth that red and pink clash.
How has your year been? I’ve done a lot of substitute teaching and seen my kids get older and become more their wonderful selves.
I’ve gotten some writing and editing done–not as much as I’d like but it all counts. I was banned forever from FB on trumped-up charges of posting inappropriate material about children. I’m thinking it was some weird political censorship, because that ain’t me. In fact, my two strongest political causes are stopping child trafficking and censorship. The irony.
The libel. I may have to join a class action suit, though I’d rather be reading and eating lemon squares, undoubtedly staining the pages in the process.
It’s been hard being cut off from dozens of childhood friends, etc. And stings for a writer, but no matter. Life goes on and it’s not healthy to be reliant on anything that can be summarily taken away. While I’m a never neuralink, non-transhumanist I am happy Elon Musk has acquired Twitter, just to get some accounts reinstated and some transparency.
Enough about me, though. Friends, I wish you health and joy in the coming year. May you stop being hard on yourself and celebrate your achievements, even surviving.
