Sarah Torribio and her right brain. Music. Musings. Writing. Style.

Marilyn was a fine actress, who overcame great odds, and who had remarkable mastery over energy.

The camera loved her, yes, but she was always in collaboration. She knew her best angles. I read she kept the peach-fuzz that grew on her face because it made her face catch more light and appear more luminous.

Here are a couple things about Marilyn Monroe. For some reason, women don’t seem or jealous of her beauty. I think it’s because she exuded real emotions, like joy and sadness. She seemed friendly and vulnerable.

Another is, try googling Marilyn and books. She read all the time. There has rarely been a public figure, let alone a blonde bombshell who played dumb for a living, whom has been photographed so often while reading book.

She was determined to make something of herself, to transcend a limited education and a wide-scale perception that she was all body and no brain.

It’s a ridiculous notion. Marilyn Monroe was, after all, a Gemini, an air sign that is all about quick thought and communication. In the legendary beauty’s chart, it’s not just her sun sign that is Gemini. Gemini also falls in Mercury , the planet that controls how we learn, how we share what we learn, and how we communicate.

Marilyn’s rising sign, which is representative of what people pick up when they first meet you as well as a person’s childhood, is another brainy air sign: Aquarius. Natives of Aquarius are unconventional and eccentric. They care deeply about humanity as a whole. They tend to be interested in many things, from science to the occult.

Bottom line: America’s most famous beauty, most legendary sex symbol, was intelligent and a voracious learner. She might not have been the kind of Aquarius personality who studies engineering, or science or math, or who pursues a trade like electrician or pilot. But Norma Jean’s ability to switch to the Marilyn Monroe persona, which exuded a magnetism that was palpable, showed a supreme control of energy.

She was, in her own way as much of an alchemist as Merlin and as much of an innovator as Nikola Tesla.

In this way, the girl who could make herself glow, still commands attention. She burned bright as a streetlight, as a California sunset. It is proof-positive that free energy is available to those wiling to lasso and wield it.
