Love is such a golden thing

Byzantine halo, wedding ring

A rapper’s grill, his knock-off bling

An angry wasp about to sting

A work by Klimpt, a gilded nude

Tea and honey, freshly brewed

Saffron rice with raisins, stewed

A morning sunbeam, not yet viewed
