I had a dream that I met Morrissey. He told me that he was recording a new album and was looking for song suggestions. First, I suggested what I guess would be a re-recording of my favorite Morrissey song, “Interesting Drug.” He pointed out, clever fellow, that the song was already on another record.
I then proceeded to suggest that he record a cover of Love and Rocket’s “So Alive.” He answered, “That’s innovative.” Upon waking up, I realize that this sexxy alpha-male incantation would be a terrible fit. It was just that he put me on the spot.
